Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 19, 2026

At LocateStore, a product of Micro.company, your privacy is a priority. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have questions, contact us.

How LocateStore works with your data

LocateStore creates a store locator powered by your Google Sheet. Your store data resides in your own Google Sheet, hosted by Google. LocateStore only accesses the specific Google Sheet that you authorize to power your store locator - nothing else. Managing the contents and sharing settings of your Google Sheet is your responsibility.

Google API Limited Use disclosure

LocateStore's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically, LocateStore only reads the Google Sheet you connect to your store locator. We do not access any other Google account data, files, or services.

Consent

By using LocateStore, you consent to this Privacy Policy and agree to its terms.

Information we collect

Account information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and company name.

Payment information: If you subscribe to a paid plan, billing details and card information are processed and stored by our payment provider. We do not store your card details directly.

Usage information: We collect information about how you interact with our Service, including browser type, device type, IP address, and pages visited. This helps us improve the Service.

Support communications: If you contact us, we may receive your name, email address, and the contents of your message.

Google Sheet data: We access only the Google Sheet you authorize. This data is read to power your store locator and is not stored on our servers beyond what is necessary to deliver the Service.

How we use your information

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
  • Improve and personalize your experience.
  • Analyze how the Service is used.
  • Communicate with you about your account, updates, and support.
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security issues.

We do not sell your data to third parties. We share information only with service providers who help us operate LocateStore (such as hosting and payment processing), and they are contractually bound to keep your data confidential.

Your data is disclosed to third parties only when:

  • It is necessary to provide the Service you requested.
  • We have your permission.
  • It is required by law or a competent authority.

Cookies

LocateStore uses cookies to store your preferences and enable core functionality. You can disable cookies through your browser settings, though this may affect your experience with the Service.

Data deletion

You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. When you delete your LocateStore account, we remove your configuration data from our systems. Your Google Sheet remains yours and is unaffected.
