What do latitude and longitude mean?

Latitude says how far north or south a place is. Longitude says how far east or west.

Which format do I get?

Both decimal (40.7128, -74.0060) and degrees, minutes, seconds.

What is degrees, minutes, seconds (DMS)?

Another way to write coordinates. Each degree is split into 60 minutes and each minute into 60 seconds, and N/S and E/W replace plus and minus. For example, 40.7128, -74.0060 is 40°42'46.1"N 74°00'21.6"W. Maps, GPS devices and property records often use it.

Can I find an address from coordinates?

Yes, paste them into the search box, in decimal or DMS. The address of that spot shows under the coordinates.

Can I convert a whole list of addresses?

Paste them into Spreadsheet to Map to see them all on one map. LocateStore also maps a Google Sheet of addresses with no coordinates needed.
